Lyn De La Motte
Fine Art
“Beautiful, symbolic and mystical”.
~ Lindsay McKenna, Author

Lyn’s art invites self-exploration through enigmatic imagery and metaphoric reference to universal icons. It is vibrant, vivid and poignant”.
~ Melanie Willis, Poet.

"Lyn art holds a powerful spiritual energy and deep symbolism that speaks straight to the soul. Her work beautifully blends texture, color, and form, creating pieces that feel like. There’s richness in her ability to weave together themes of transformation, connection, and the balance between the physical and spiritual worlds.
What I love most is how Lyn sees beyond the surface, capturing the true depth of things. The symbols she uses—whether feathers, flowing shapes, or sacred imagery—carry so much meaning and seem to tell their own story. Her work invites you to slow down, reflect, and connect with something greater.
I’m so proud to have one of her pieces in my home. It’s not just art—it’s a daily reminder of the beauty and wisdom of the spiritual path.
It’s a constant source of inspiration and brings a sense of peace and connection every time I see it."
~ Liza Krypers, Shamanic Practioner/Soul midwife.
Lyn Is an individual who forged her own path. A journey of deeper experiences. Being sovereign and challenging social norms, and what religion means. She has been a beacon of light and a way shower and skilful mariner on merciless seas.
Her art has a wistful reverie to it, blending myth and whimsy and a strong undertone of the powerful feminine. When I view any of her works, I am transported to a place where the soul meets the heart in time not demarcated by clocks but by the movement of the spirit embodied.
~ Vanessa Herman, Poet

“The most valuable aspect of Lyn’s art is in engaging the viewer. It raises questions in order to bring people into more meaningful conversation. If a person is not able to converse directly, then it is an invitations to remain, captured in the artwork for a while. Being mesmerised directly engages the mind in an imaginal conversation”
~ Terry Lee Thomson

As we flow through our lives, we touch magic. I am indeed fortunate to have touched lives with Lyn de la Motte in two different spheres--as an artist and as a shaman.

Yet Lyn is vastly more than either artist or shaman. Her life story is woven as an exquisite tapestry of vibrant, multi-dimensional colours and tones. Sounds, tastes and smells. What I love about Lyn is her wisdom, her ability to be pragmatic, real and down to earth, in addition to her insight, intuition and deep love for the earth.
